Researcher/editor

We are looking for a researcher/editor with experience in publications or website to produce high quality copy in a defined house style.

Responsibilities. 

• Monitoring the quality news sites either fortnightly or monthly – both for topical stories that could be commented on within the blog/newsletter.
• Review one or two  events from previous month (again to demonstrate that Digitallagos.tv is out and about in the industry.
• Gathering content – keeping an eye out for possible developments in the sector that could lead to thought pieces.
• Updates from Digitallagos.tv on company news and so on
• Writing and editing copy from other contributors
• Writing editorial on how to find jobs and manage your career within the creative sector and help develop the site’s information and advice features

In addition to meeting this core responsibilities, the successful contractor will offer us the best package of additional options to ensure all-round media support, drawn from the following:

• Advice/guidance on target media including journals
• Article submission in SEO article/blog directories
• Blog creation and submitting in list of blog search engine
• Place links in discussion forums where possible
• How to best evaluate our media impact/profile
• Editorial services
• Any additional services recommended by the contractor
